CCCC Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. Visits University for Exchange and Discussion

To deeply study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, promote the implementation of the university's "Pioneer Plan" and "3510" Strategic Project, and solidly advance university-enterprise cooperation, the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences held a symposium with CCCC Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. on March 18.

Attendees from CCCC Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. included Liu Xiangyu, Executive General Manager and Chief Engineer; Xu Xinwei, Deputy General Manager; Zhu Baohua, General Manager of the Science and Technology Information Department; Liu Xiaohui, General Manager of the Technology Center; and Wang Zhennan, R&D Supervisor at the Technology Center. The symposium was also attended by the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences' party and administrative leadership, along with relevant faculty members.

Dean Professor Deng Tianlong, on behalf of the college, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from CCCC Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co., Ltd. and introduced the college's fundamental situation. Professor Deng provided a detailed overview covering the college's history, discipline development, teaching and research, faculty and talent, international exchanges, and talent cultivation. He expressed hope that both sides would focus on the forefront of industrial development, continue to deepen cooperation in talent cultivation and scientific research, further integrate industry and education, and merge scientific research with education, thereby contributing to the economic and social development of the Binhai New Area.

General Manager Liu Xiangyu introduced the company's basic profile and its achievements in recent years. He expressed the company's desire to engage in technological innovation and collaborative development with Tianjin University of Science and Technology in core areas such as marine new energy, green and low-carbon construction of immersed tunnels, engineering robot development, and AI-powered intelligent design.

During the meeting, three faculty members—Ding Lei, Zhang Wu, and Fu Yunkun—gave presentations focusing on the company's areas of interest. They elaborated in depth on the feasibility of collaboration between their respective research directions and the enterprise.
