To implement the objectives and tasks of the “Pioneer Plan,” leverage the guiding role of Party building, and deepen university-enterprise cooperation, Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Tianjin Dongjiang Port City Culture and Tourism Group Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for their joint cooperation initiative at the Binhai Central Campus on December 8. The College of Marxism, the College of Foreign Languages, and the College of Marine and Environment each signed cooperation agreements with the Group, marking a new phase of specialized, systematic, and long-term collaboration between the two parties. The ceremony was presided over by Huo Shilei, Deputy Party Secretary of the College of Marine and Environment Sciences, and attended by relevant officials from the University Party Committee’s Organization Department.
At the signing ceremony, representatives from the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences, the College of Marxism, and the College of Foreign Languages delivered speeches, outlining their vision for cooperation and implementation strategies based on the agreement. The College of Marine and Environmental Sciences will focus on the conservation and sustainable use of marine resources, promoting joint Party-building initiatives, marine-themed competitions, science popularization and study tours, and “dual-teacher system” talent development to support the high-quality development of the marine economy. The College of Marxism will assist in jointly developing the “Youth Speaks” Party-building brand and red-themed study tours, promote the integrated practice of ideological and political education across primary, secondary, and higher education, and strengthen the ideological guidance and cultural significance of cultural and tourism projects. The College of Foreign Languages will focus on “internationalization of cultural and tourism” and “language services,” assisting in the enhancement of multilingual signage, the organization of international cultural events, and the implementation of cross-cultural communication projects to support the internationalization of the East Xinjiang cultural and tourism brand.
Xuan Xiaobo, Deputy General Manager of the Tianjin Dongjiang Port City Culture and Tourism Group, stated that this series of agreements represents a deepening and expansion of previous university-industry exchanges. The Group will actively provide industrial settings, platform resources, and practical opportunities in accordance with the terms of the agreements, working together with the university to build a new cooperative ecosystem centered on “joint Party building, joint talent cultivation, and joint project creation.”
Li Xinyan, Deputy Director of the Party Committee’s Organization Department, noted that this signing ceremony represents a significant step for the university in leveraging Party building to guide institutional development and advance the implementation of the “Vanguard Plan.” She expressed hope that both the university and the enterprise would use the agreement as a blueprint to establish a sustainable mechanism for collaboration, thereby generating a series of exemplary cooperative outcomes through joint organizational development, shared resources, and collaborative project promotion. These efforts will inject new vitality into the implementation of Tianjin’s “Ten Initiatives” and the region’s economic and social development.
