On May 22, the conference room of the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences was filled with the fragrance of flowers and the sound of laughter. A warm and solemn retirement symposium was held for Professor Cui Qingman and Professor Yuan Chunying, who have made significant contributions to aquaculture education and scientific research. The college's party and administrative leaders, as well as teachers from relevant majors, gathered together to witness this touching moment. The symposium was presided over by the college's party committee secretary, Xu Tao.
A heartwarming documentary kicked off the event. Titled "Thirty Years of Cultivating the Blue Waves, Passing on the Passion for Aquaculture," the short film highlighted the professors' outstanding contributions in the areas of discipline construction, talent cultivation, and social services.
