On September 7th, the unveiling ceremony of the Uzbekistan Ruban Workshop and the China (Tianjin) - Uzbekistan (Tashkent) Education Cooperation Roundtable Conference took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Tianjin Municipal Party Secretary Chen Miner attended the event and engaged in warm conversations with teachers and students. Wang Min, a member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice President of the university, along with leaders from other universities and enterprises in Tianjin, participated in the ceremony.

At the China-Uzbekistan Education Cooperation Roundtable, Wang Min delivered a speech entitled "China-Uzbekistan Cooperation Bears Fruits and jointly Builds a new Silk Road Bond". Bakirov, deputy governor of Sirhe Region of Uzbekistan, and his delegation visited our school and had in-depth exchanges with President Fuping Lu in carrying out all-round cooperation. The 2022 Sino-Uzbek intergovernmental science and technology cooperation project "Research on Key technologies of lithium Extraction from liquid lithium Mine in the Aral Sea" jointly undertaken by our University and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Engineering and the Institute of Chemistry of Uzbekistan has made important progress, and the industrial application plan of technical achievements has been initially achieved. The University has signed a cooperation agreement with Samarkand International University of Science and Technology and co-organized the "World Tea Day" celebration in 2023. In January 2024, Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Tashkent State University of Technology signed a memorandum of understanding.

After the round table, our university conducted in-depth exchanges with seven universities including Ferghana Institute of Technology of Uzbekistan, and signed memorandums of cooperation with Ferghana Institute of Technology, Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Namangan Institute of Textile Technology, jointly carrying out "2+2" or "3+1" joint education, joint scientific research, and the establishment of joint laboratories.

During his stay in Ukraine, Min Wang visited Tashkent State Technical University and had in-depth exchanges with Vice President Saldo Donayev on further detailing the cooperation between the two universities. The two sides reached aconsensus on the personnel composition, cooperation content, and achievement transformation of the joint laboratory of modern biotechnology and jointly signed a memorandum of understanding. In the "Study in Tianjin" promotion conference held by Tashkent National Normal University, our school participated in the enrollment promotion organized by Tianjin City, answered the questions about the University of Study abroad in detail, and achieved good results.

This visit will further promote the in-depth cooperation between our university and universities in Uzbekistan, build the brand of "Study abroad astronomy" of our school, promote the international cooperation and exchange of our school, the international transformation of scientific and technological achievements, firmly implement the international communication task of the school's "Pioneer Plan", and enhance the international influence of our school.
