symposium on September 12 to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and support high-quality regional economic and social development.Yin Qiang, a member of the Group’s Party Committee and deputy general manager, led the delegation to the university’s Binhai Mid-campus. The meeting, held in Conference Room 1-305, was attended by representatives from the Group’s Investment Management Department, Strategic Planning Department, and Party-Mass Work Department, as well as faculty members from the University’s Party Committee Organization Department and colleges including Marine and Environmental Sciences, Economics and Management, and Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.The symposium was chaired by Huo Shilei, deputy Party secretary of the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences.

Yin Qiang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Binhai Construction & Investment Group, introduced the Group's development history, core business operations, and strategic layout. He stated that as a key force in the development and construction of Binhai New Area, the Group places great importance on collaboration with universities. He noted that Tianjin University of Science and Technology possesses distinct disciplinary strengths that align closely with the Group's industrial development needs. He expressed hope that this symposium would mark the beginning of accelerated progress in concrete cooperation projects, jointly contributing to the high-quality development of Binhai New Area.

During the symposium, representatives from the Party Committee Organization Department outlined the background and significance of the strategic collaboration between the two parties, emphasizing the need to strengthen Party building as a guiding force in jointly serving the construction of Bincheng. Professor Deng Tianlong, Dean of the College of Marine and Environmental Sciences, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Binhai Construction & Investment Group and provided a brief overview of the college's educational history, disciplinary features, and talent development achievements. He stated that the college highly values the cooperation with the Group and hopes to use this exchange as an opportunity to deepen collaboration in scientific research innovation, talent cultivation, student employment, and social services. Yu Liyan, Vice Dean of the College of Economics and Management, and Li Xiang, Vice Dean of the College of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, introduced their respective colleges' disciplinary development, scientific research platforms, and existing foundations and advantages for school-enterprise cooperation, while also proposing suggestions for future collaboration. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on joint technology research, internship and practice base , and customized training programs.

The symposium marks a new phase of collaboration between Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Tianjin Binhai Construction & Investment Group. Both parties have agreed to promptly establish regular communication mechanisms, identify key cooperation areas, and refine implementation plans. They aim to build a model of school-enterprise collaboration that fosters joint innovation, talent development, and regional service, injecting new momentum into Tianjin's "Ten Initiatives" and the high-quality development of Binhai New Area.
