Recently, the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission issued the Notice on Announcing the List of Projects for Graduate Education Reform Research Plan in Tianjin Ordinary Colleges and Universities in 2023 (Jin Jiao Yan Han [2023] No.12). Eighteen projects in our school have been approved, including one major project, four key projects and 13 general projects. The total number of approved projects and the proportion of approved projects are ranked first among municipal colleges and universities.

The Tianjin Higher Education Graduate Teaching Reform Research Plan project mainly focuses on the major theoretical and practical problems faced by graduate education in our city. It aims to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on graduate education, vigorously promote theoretical innovation, system innovation and practical innovation in graduate education, cultivate a number of high-level teaching results, and promote graduate education to serve the national strategic needs and Tianjin's industrial development needs. In order to do a good job in this application, graduate schools and colleges have extensively mobilized and carefully organized, and recommended a total of 19 participating projects, including 15 general projects and 4 key projects.

In recent years, the school has continuously increased its support for the reform of postgraduate education and teaching. It has specially set up funds for the reform of postgraduate teaching to support research on high-quality courses, teaching materials and cases, the construction of practice bases, and the reform of personnel training models. It has initially constructed a new pattern of education reform with the improvement of postgraduate training quality as the core, curriculum construction and related education reform research and practice system promotion. By the end of 2023, the school has obtained more than 150 project initiation or achievement awards from institutions such as the Academic Degrees and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, the Tianjin Education Commission, the China Academic Degrees and Postgraduate Education Association, and the National Professional Degree Postgraduate Education Steering Committee. In the future, the school will continue to give full play to the advantages of disciplines and specialties, face the needs of the National Strategy and Development, focus on Tianjin's "1 + 3 + 4" key industrial areas, continue to implement research on the reform of postgraduate education and teaching, comprehensively promote the high-quality development of postgraduate education in our school, and make contributions to serving the needs of the National Strategy and Development and the social and economic development of Tianjin.
