Seven postdoctoral fellows from our school received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China

Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation Committee announced the results of the 2021 National Natural Science Foundation project review. A total of 7 postdoctoral fellows in our school won the 2021 National Natural Science Foundation project. Among them, postdoctoral fellows Dai Lin received general project funding, and 6 postdoctoral fellows including Li Long, An Xingye, Xue Bin, Chen Guiyun, Wang Nifei and Ren Fei received youth science fund project funding.

In order to better play the role of talents in strengthening the school, establish a reservoir for high-level young teachers and a new force in scientific research, and increase the introduction and training of young teachers' reserve talents, the school attaches great importance to the recruitment and training of postdoctoral students.

Our school actively encourages all postdoctoral students to actively carry out the application of National Natural Science Foundation and Postdoctoral Science Foundation projects. Since 2021, we have organized two "Postdoctoral Fund Project Application Expert Guidance Meetings" to guide 25 postdoctoral projects. In 2021, the 69th batch of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation funded 3 postdoctoral students, and the 70th batch is currently under review.

Since the implementation of the document "Administrative Measures for Postdoctoral Work of Tianjin University of Science and Technology (Trial)" (Tianjin University of Science and Technology Fa [2020] No.66), a total of 38 postdoctoral students have been recruited. Our school actively keeps in touch with enterprises and builds a platform for the training of young teachers. Our school jointly trains 20 postdoctoral fellows with workstations such as Kelaiying Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Tianjin Kangxino Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Tianjin Tianlong Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin International Biomedical Joint Research Institute, CNOOC Environmental Protection Service (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Hebei Hengshui Laobaigan Brewing (Group) Co., Ltd., Tianjin Jieshengdonghui Preservation Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin Kereda Coating Chemical Co., Ltd. and other workstations. 15 are young teachers of our school. The workstation provides a total of 870,000 yuan for the training of our school, and the workstation has signed a total of 1.4 million yuan for horizontal projects with our school.

At present, excellent scientific research achievements and projects of postdoctoral researchers in the station are constantly emerging.
