On March 28, Elsevier, a global information analysis company, officially released the 2022 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. This time, our school has three scholars on the list. They are: Professor Sun Jun of the School of Oceanography and Environment, Professor Gao Invention of the School of Chemical Industry and Materials, and Professor Wang Shujun of the School of Food Science and Engineering.

The 2022 Elsevier "Annual List of China's Highly Cited Scholars" uses the citation and index database Scopus of Elsevier, the world's leading information analysis company, as a statistical source, and adopts the method developed by Shanghai Soft Science Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd. to deeply analyze and identify Chinese scholars at different periods of their scientific research career from multiple dimensions, and systematically display their scientific research achievements. In 2022, a total of 5,216 "China Highly Cited Scholars" made the list, from 504 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions, covering 84 first-class disciplines in 10 disciplines of the Ministry of Education.
