To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, Tianjin Literature and Art Broadcasting, in collaboration with the Tianjin Overseas Chinese Association of Returned Students from Europe and America, jointly launched the "Walking into France" series of radio programs. On September 25, 2024, Professor Zeng Ming, Vice President of the Overseas Chinese Association of Returned Students from Europe and America of our university, Vice Dean of the College of Oceanography and Environment, and a former student in France, was invited to the live studio of the "Wenbo Doesn't Nap" program. He engaged in a lively discussion about Sino-French cultural education, taking listeners on a virtual tour of France.
During the interview, Zeng Ming, based on his study and life experiences in France, introduced France's advanced science and technology, long history and culture, rich cultural heritage, as well as famous museums, art galleries, and former residences of celebrities. He led the audience to experience French culture, enhance Sino-French people-to-people exchanges, and promote mutual learning and blending of the two cultures. During this time, he also introduced our university's "Pioneer Plan" international communication initiative to the audience.
