Tianjin Key Laboratory of Marine Resources and Chemistry

Tianjin Key Laboratory of Marine Resources and Chemistry is a provincial and ministerial level key laboratory established by Tianjin Science and Technology Commission and Tianjin Education Commission in October 2007 and supported by Tianjin University of Science and Technology. The main purpose of the laboratory is to study and develop the basic theories and applied technologies of chemistry and biology related to Marine resources based on Marine resources, closely combine with the development frontier of Marine disciplines in the world, and study green chemical technologies for sustainable development and efficient utilization of Marine resources according to the characteristics of Marine resources and their utilization in our country. To form a research and development base for Marine chemical resources and Marine biological resources. According to the operation requirements of "opening, flowing, joint and competition", the 2024 Open Fund project application Guide is released for domestic and foreign colleagues.

Deng Tianlong, Academic leader, male, professor, doctoral supervisor, leader of the 100 Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Innovation Team leader of the Ministry of Education, Special professor of Tianjin and leading talents of Tianjin. Member of the Standing Committee OF THE INTERNATIONAL Salt LAKE Society, member of the Professional Committee of Thermodynamics and Thermal Analysis of the Chinese Chemical Society, member of the Professional Committee of Inorganic Acid and Alkali Salts of the Chinese Chemical Society, member of the Lithium Salt Society of the Chinese Inorganic Salts Industry Association. He is mainly engaged in the research of phase equilibrium and phase diagram of brine solution and chemical separation technology. He has presided over more than 40 key and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the best funded projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the key scientific research projects supported by Tianjin Science and Technology, and has published more than 260 academic papers.

Haiming Li, Deputy director of the laboratory, doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor. Tianjin University discipline leading talents, Tianjin "131" Innovative talents. He is a member of International Geochemistry Society (IAGC), Standing member of Water Resources Committee of China Society of Natural Resources, member of Water Treatment and Reuse Committee of China Environmental Society, member of Groundwater Science and Engineering Committee of China Water Conservancy Association, and editorial member of South-to-North Water Diversion and Water Science and Technology, Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology. Research fields include risk assessment and remediation of groundwater and soil pollution in contaminated sites, groundwater environmental impact assessment, groundwater resource utilization and pollution control, groundwater system simulation and prediction, and groundwater resource evaluation and management.

Liang Zhao, Deputy director of the laboratory, Doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor. Candidate of "Discipline Leading Talents Training Plan" of Tianjin Universities and "New Century Outstanding Talents Support Plan" of Ministry of Education. He is engaged in the research of shallow ocean dynamics and ecosystem dynamics. His main research interests include the fine observation of shallow ocean bottom boundary layer dynamic process, the change law and control mechanism of low trophic ecosystem and catastrophic ecological process under the dual pressure of natural changes and human activities, and the study of Marine dynamics and ecological models.
