Team Introduction (Highlighting Research Directions):

The primary research directions of our team include:

Research on the Biodegradation Mechanisms of Marine Persistent Pollutants

Management of Marine Heavy Metal Pollution and Research on Microalgal Bioenergy

Research on Antimicrobial Peptides and High-Efficiency Expressing Protease Strains

Research on the Drivers and Mechanisms of Carbon Sequestration in Coastal Wetlands

Based on the regulatory mechanisms of microbiomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics, the team uses molecular biology techniques, bioinformatics and modern bioengineering technologies as means to continuously develop new technologies such as multiple microbial degradation functional flora, energy seaweeds, and antibacterial peptides. A series of innovative research results have been achieved in aspects such as the biodegradation mechanism of new marine pollutants, the biosynthesis and regulatory mechanism of energy substances, the driving factors and mechanisms of carbon sinks in coastal wetlands, the extraction, expression, purification, efficacy evaluation, structure-activity relationship and industrial application of bioactive proteins and polypeptides.
