Team Introduction:
Research direction: Fundamental and applied research on development and utilization of marine brine chemical resources
Research contents:
Phase equilibrium and phase diagram of salt-water system: A systematic study on the phase equilibrium and phase diagram, solution chemistry, computational chemistry, thermodynamics and thermoanalysis of salt-water systems for seawater desalination brine, salt lake brine, oil and gas field brine, and underground brine was conducted, and the characteristic solubility database of salt-water systems was established, which provides important theoretical support and technological guidance for the development and utilization of inorganic salt in sea water and brine .
High-value utilization of chemical resources in brine: Chemical resources such as lithium, potassium, boron, magnesium, rubidium, cesium and other rare elements in marine brine are used as research objects; Marine chemistry, marine chemical industry and brine chemical industry are regarded as advantages and characteristics; Using contemporary separation science and technology, functional composite separation materials have been developed to address scientific challenges and key technologies related to the exploitation and utilization of marine brine chemical resources, whichpromote the high-value development and comprehensive utilization of Marine brine chemical resources in China.
3. Marine geochemistry of metal stable isotopes: Thecoastal earth critical zone, recently, is superimposed influenced by the global warming and economic transformation driven by the carbon neutrality in China. In this multi-interface, we conduct the research of the observations, processes and mechanisms by marine bio-/geochemical of typical metals (Li, Cu, Zn, Hg et. al.) stable isotopes, and provide the key science evidence to comprehensively understand the mechanism of coastal environmental evolution.
